Minor Victories (Slowdive / Mogwai) share "Folk Arp," announce North American tour

Minor Victories, aka Rachel Goswell of Slowdive, Stuart Braithwaite of Mogwai, Justin Lockey of Editors, and his brother James Lockey, have shared another song off their upcoming debut album. “Folk Arp” is ethereal and majestic widescreen rock, as you might imagine given the members, and you can watch the video, directed by the band’s James Lockey, below. Lockey has also been making short films in conjunction with the album, and you can watch the first two (and the “A Hundred Ropes” video) below as well.

The band will touring this summer, including a stop at Brooklyn’s Music Hall of Williamsburg on June 21. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday, April 8 at noon with an AmEx presale starting Wednesday, April 6 at noon. All tour dates are listed below.
