Modern Baseball just wrapped up a tour in their hometown of Philly on Saturday (12/12), after having hit NYC a day earlier for a sold-out show at Webster Hall (12/11), their largest headlining show to date. They played most of 2014’s You’re Gonna Miss It All, a few off their debut Sports and this year’s MOBO Presents: The Perfect Cast featuring Modern Baseball EP, and a new one, presumably off their upcoming third album. Then they encored with a cover of The Killers’ “Mr. Brightside” (a change from their usual Killers cover of choice), with Scuff from Sorority Noise on lead vocals.

Sorority Noise replaced PUP at the last minute, after PUP had to drop off the last few dates of the tour due to illness. Cam from Sorority Noise (on sax) and Dylan from the other openers, Tiny Moving Parts, also joined Jeff Rosenstock during his set. And Jeff’s Antarctigo Vespucci bandmate Chris Farren introduced MoBo. (Antarctigo Vespucci play NYC tonight, 12/14.)
