Montreal band Fleece prep ‘Voyager’ (listen to jazzy “What You’ve Done”)

Montreal band Fleece have been around since 2013 with a distinctively jazzy brand of psychedelic pop. (You may know the group from their “How to Make an Alt-J song” parody video that went viral last year.) The group are set to release their second album, Voyager, on January 19 via their own Fleece Music and we’ve got the premiere of first single “What You’ve Done.” The track really shows off what Fleece do well, bringing a tropical rhythm to a bright, joyous pop song full of skilled playing, inventive arrangements and soaring harmonies. Listen below.

The band just wrapped up a short Canadian tour and will be back on the road in 2017, details TBA. You can check out album art and tracklist for Voyager (and a stream of 2015’s Scavenger), below.
