Montreal's Thin Blue Line releasing new EP (watch the "Concrete Nights" video)

Montreal’s Thin Blue Line began as an all-instrumental band, with sweeping ebb-and-flow and rhythic precision had them firmly in krauty post-rock territory on their 2016 debut, News From What We Once Thought. The band is back with a new EP, Memory and Geometry, out November 3 via Michel Records, that has them adding vocals to the mix. First single “Concrete Nights” is a little gauzier than what they’ve released previously, but finds the addition of vocal melodies fits right in with what they do. We’ve got the premiere of the song’s video, directed, edited and animated by Toby Andris. Its black-and-white, Super-8 feel gives the song an even more nostalgic feel than it already had.
