Governors Ball, the first of three major NYC music festivals happening in 2017, is a wrap. It kicked off on Friday (6/2) with Chance the Rapper, Beach House, Lorde, and more (pics HERE and HERE), continued on Saturday (6/3) with Phoenix, Wu-Tang Clan, and more (pics and review HERE), and concluded on Sunday (6/4) with headliners Tool (pics and setlist HERE), plus Air, The Avalanches, Franz Ferdinand, and more (pics HERE).

We’ve got even more pictures from Gretchen Robinette of all three days in this post, including Chance, Wu-Tang, Childish Gambino, Charles Bradley, Michael Kiwanuka, the Mark Ronson vs Kevin Parker (of Tame Impala) DJ battle, and more, plus lots and lots of shots of the crazy scene on Randall’s Island this past weekend. Check them out in the gallery above.

Childish Gambino ended his set by pointing out that his next album might be his last, as Billboard reports:

For the finale, Gambino went into full Donald Glover mode and incorporated a sketch about a house party hook-up with a woman soundtracked by cuts like Lil Wayne’s “Mrs. Officer” and Rihanna’s “Sex With Me.” Once he reached the part in the story where the neighbors call the cops and the only option is to hide together in the bathroom with his lady, he cued up “the perfect song to make out to” — inspired by a Twitter meme — and performed the effortlessly sexy “Redbone.” Before leaving the stage, Gambino suggested that his next project could be his final, saying, “I’ll see you for the last Gambino album.”
