Moses Sumney shares new song; free Prospect Park show w/ Whitney & Weyes Blood is this week

Moses Sumney has announced the release of his debut album, Aromanticism (that’s the artwork above). The record features several guest musicians, including Thundercat on bass, and it’s out September 22 via Jagjaguwar (preorder). In addition, the singer has released the second single taken from the record, “Quarrel.” It features Sumney’s smooth vocals over lush, dazzling instrumentation, before completely unraveling into blissful jazz territory. Hear the new single, along with previous single “Doomed,” below.

Sumney is currently in the midst of a tour across North America and Europe, which hits Brooklyn this weekend for a free show in Prospect Park on Friday, (8/11) with Whitney and Weyes Blood. Doors open at 6 PM.

You can also catch Sumney at Brooklyn’s Music Hall of Williamsburg on October 11 (tickets). Updated tour dates are listed below.
