Mount Eerie and Julie Doiron are wrapping up a tour together supporting their recent joint album Lost Wisdom pt. 2, and on Saturday night (12/14) they stopped in Brooklyn for a show at St. Ann & The Holy Trinity. The gorgeous, ornate church made a magnificent backdrop for the pair, with their subtle, beautiful harmonies reverberating in the rafters. As Stereogum points out, they’ve been closing shows this tour with a take on Dolly Parton’s oft-covered “I Will Always Love You;” you can watch their spare, understated version below, along with a few more video clips from the show, and pictures are in the gallery above.

For 2020, Mount Eerie has a couple of Canadian dates lined up with Julie, and in July he opens Angel Olsen’s big BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival show in Prospect Park (tickets).
