Mount Eerie readies 2nd LP of 2012, touring (dates & streams)

Mount Eerie (aka Phil Elverum) already released the very solid Clear Moon LP this year, and he’s set to follow that with his second album of 2012, Ocean Roar, which is due out on September 4 via his own P.W. Elverum and Sun label. You can stream two tracks from Clear Moon, “House Shape” and “Lone Bell,” and a clip of “Pale Lights” from Ocean Roar below, along with the latter’s cover art and tracklist.

Mount Eerie will be heading out on an extensive tour later this summer and into fall which hits NYC on September 15 at 285 Kent and September 16 at Le Poisson Rouge with Loren Connors. Both of those shows, and most of the others on the tour are all ages. Tickets for the LPR show are on sale now.
