Mourn cover Replacements, Bunnymen & more on new EP; tour starts this week

Barcelona’s Mourn start their North American tour on Wednesday (9/6) at Knitting Factory in Brooklyn (tickets), that wraps up in Los Angeles on September 27. The band didn’t tour here for 2016’s Ha, Ha, He! so this may be the first chance folks will get to hear those songs live. All dates are listed below.

In conjunction with the tour, Mourn are releasing a new EP titled Over the Wall which is out this week via Captured Tracks. It’ features four covers, including songs by Echo & The Bunnymen (the EP’s title track), The Sound (“The Fire”), The Replacements (“Color Me Impressed”), and Husker Du (“Whatever”), plus an unreleased original, “Angines.” You can listen to “Color Me Impressed” below.
