Wonderland

MTV launching live music series "Wonderland" with Lizzo, Ty Dolla $ign, Tinashe, more

MTV has made a big deal in recent weeks about returning to its musical roots after a long period as a decidedly non-musical entity. They already announced that they’d be resurrecting Unplugged (hopefully Korn will make a return visit), and now they’ve announced a new weekly live music and comedy series called Wonderland.

The show, which is in collaboration with Comedy Central, will have multiple performers per episode, and will be hosted by Lizzo, comedian Myke Wright and internet personality Steak. The show will be available across all MTV platforms, meaning you don’t even need a cable subscription to catch it in places like Facebook Live and mtv.com. The first episode will feature performances by Ty Dolla $ign, Tinashe and Broods, and will air Thursdays starting on September 15.
