Murals release new single “Violet City Lantern,” playing CMJ
by Bill Pearis
It’s been a couple years, but Louisville, KY’s Murals are back with a new label, Firetalk, and a new single, “Violet City Lantern,” which is out next week (10/16). This is a little more lush than we’ve heard Murals be before, with a pastoral feel not unlike some of Caribou’s Andorra. Check it out via the song’s video below.
Murals will be in NYC next week for CMJ, playing five shows:
10/14 – @ Silent Barn: Wichita X Fire Talk X Silent Barn w/ Cheatahs, Adveata, Oscar, Dreamcrusher (info)
10/15 @ Berlin – Dirges and Daydreams Party w/ Mild High Club, Heaters, Chocolat, Cool Ghouls, Worthless, S (RSVP for free entry)
10/16 @ Fulton Stall Market: Seaport Music Fest Showcase w/ Celestial Shore, Michael Rault, Haley Bonar, dirty Ghosts, S, The Teen Age, Arms, EMEFE, Lazyeyes, Spritzer, Tiny Hazard, Mothers, The Album Leaf (FREE)
