Muse, Florence, Death Cab & more played ALT 92.3 holiday show at Barclays (pics)

ALT 92.3 is the new alternative rock station that NYC has had since last fall (the city’s first alt-rock station in six years), and last night (12/6) they held their inaugural “Radio.com Presents Not So Silent Night” holiday show at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. ALT 92.3 saved the best for last, with the one-two-three punch of Death Cab For Cutie, Florence + the Machine and Muse closing the night (in that order). Death Cab were tight as ever and played a set that focused mostly on newer material but did include the classic “The Sound of Settling.” It seemed like Florence and Muse especially brought very different crowds, but there was a huge fan presence for both of them and they were both as larger-than-life as always.

Earlier in the night, there were sets from Foster the People, Mike Shinoda (of Linkin Park), Bastille, CHVRCHES, and AJR. Pictures are in the gallery above and some videos are below.
