Chicago’s My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult have been peddling kitschy electro-sleaze since the late-’80s. Though the band hit their creative peak in the mid-’90s with the deliciously lurid Sexplosion!, founders Groovie Mann and Buzz McCoy have kept the bondage gear on ever since, popping out records every four years or so, like this year’s Spooky Tricks (stream it at Rdio.) Their live show remains a cheap thrill, too, and the Spooky Tricks tour hit NYC on Sunday (6/15) at Santos Party House, which probably made a good Father’s Day night for some dad out there.
