My Morning Jacket announce only shows of 2019: Forest Hills & Red Rocks

My Morning Jacket had a very quiet 2018 — with their One Big Holiday concert vacation and the tail-end of their New Year’s Eve run being their only performances — while members focused on their solo careers (like frontman Jim James and guitarist Carl Broemel). Now they’re getting ready for an ever so slightly busier 2019.

They have just three shows planned for the entire year: Denver’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre on August 2 and 3 and Queens’ Forest Hills Stadium on August 10. Ticket go on sale Friday (12/7) at 10 AM (click the venue links). Check out the poster for MMJ’s brief 2019 schedule below.

Meanwhile, Jim James has more upcoming shows, including one this weekend in Ashville and some 2019 dates. My Morning Jacket’s Tom Blankenship plays the Richard Swift tribute at Brooklyn’s Rough Trade on Sunday (12/9) (tickets).

My Morning Jacket’s latest album is 2015’s The Waterfall.
