Nadine (Phantom Posse, Ava Luna) share new single from debut LP, playing Baby’s

nadine

Nadine is a collaborative project between Nadia Hulett (Phantom Posse) and Ava Luna’s Carlos Hernandez and Julian Fader, whose sound is jazzy, buoyant pop. Having worked on music over the last two years in Brooklyn and Austin, Nadine’s debut album, Oh My, will be out January 26 via Father Daughter / Memphis Industries. The first single is the light and bouncy “Not My Kinda Movie” — a silky smooth track that isn’t too far from Montreal’s TOPS or early Chairlift. You can listen to that, and check out album artwork and tracklist, below.

The group will play Brooklyn’s Baby’s All Right on February 8 and the show is co-presented by Gorilla Vs Bear. Tickets are on sale now.

Ava Luna, meanwhile, have a full album cover of Serge Gainsbourg’s Histoire de Melody Nelson on the way.
