Nadja released ‘SV,’ playing Saint Vitus with Insect Ark and Overishins

Nadja - Sv

Toronto experimental heavy outfit Nadja are playing some shows in 2016. Though most of those will be in Europe (they’re mostly based in Berlin these days), NYC residents will have a chance to catch them when they come through for a show at Saint Vitus on May 29, where they’ll be joined by the very cool bill of Insect Ark and Overishins. Tickets for that are on sale now.

Nadja just released a new, 1-track LP called Sv. It’s a demanding, industrially heavy listen, and you can stream it below.

Meanwhile, Insect Ark is the solo project of Dana Schechter of Angels of Light and Bee & Flower. Overishins is a newish project from Mick Barr of Krallice. That band also features Chuck Bettis and Mike Pride of Period and Johnny DeBlase of Zevious. They played their first shows as part of Mick’s residency at The Stone last year.

All dates for Nadja listed, along with a stream of Sv and Insect Ark’s Portal/Well LP from last year, below.

Nadja — 2016 Tour Dates
May 29 – Saint Vitus – Brooklyn, NY
Nov 11 – Bannermans Bar – Edinburgh, UK
Nov 13 – The Face Bar – Reading, UK
Nov 15 – Cafe OTO – London, UK
