Napalm Death announce N.A. tour w/ Aborted, Tombs, WVRM, The Locust, Nastie Band

Grind legends Napalm Death are finally set to release their first new music in five years with a new 7″ on February 7 featuring the new song “Logic Ravaged By Brute Force” and a cover of Sonic Youth‘s “White Kross,” and as previously mentioned, the UK band will be in the US for Philly’s Decibel Metal & Beer Fest. Very excitingly, they’ve now announced a lengthy North American tour beginning right after that festival. It starts out with a few West Coast dates featuring support from back-in-action hardcore spazzes The Locust and Nastie Band, the project led by visual artist Frank Haines (under the name Sandy Smiles) and also featuring Faith No More/Imperial Teen member Roddy Bottum and songs with vocals by the 81-year-old Chris Kachulis. The rest of the tour features Belgian death metal vets Aborted and fast-rising South Carolina grinders WVRM (whose new album Colony Collapse drops 4/3 via Prosthetic). Part of that run will also see those three bands joined by Brooklyn black/goth/whatever-ers Tombs (whose anticipated Monarchy of Shadows drops 2/28 via Season of Mist).

That amazing quadruple bill hits Brooklyn on May 1 at Saint Vitus. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday (1/31) at 10 AM. All dates are listed below.

UPDATE: Tickets for the Saint Vitus show go on BrooklynVegan presale Thursday (1/30) at noon. Password HERE.
