Neil Young puts his music back on streaming services, releases new song

Last year, Neil Young removed his music from streaming services and said, “When the quality is back, I’ll give it another look. Never say never.” Well, we’re not sure if the quality is in fact different now than it was in 2015, but Uncle Neil’s discography is back up on Spotify and Apple Music. That’s pretty exciting. (Earlier this year he also put his music on Tidal.)

One of the songs that’s now on Spotify is “Peace Trail,” the title track off his upcoming “primarily acoustic” album, which drops in December. For fans of acoustic Neil, this one’s instantly pleasing (and it includes some heavily-manipulated auto-tune).
