Nekrofilth on tour, playing Acheron tonight (dates, LP stream)

Cleveland nasties Nekrofilth are currently on tour. The filthy punkified death/thrashers are spreading their putridity across places like Chicago, Toronto, and Montreal. Tonight (9/15), they’ll play NYC’s the Acheron with Skull and Crypter for an Invisible Oranges-presented show. Tickets are available now. The remaining dates of their tour appear below.

Nekrofilth have built up a fanbase of sleaze-hungry metalheads that like it old, rotten, and worm-eaten. The band hit a new high/low with 2013’s Devil’s Breath, a furiously charging wall of buzz that was equal parts Repulsion and Macabre and early Dwarves. The song title “I’m a Degenerate” should give you an idea as far as the lyrical themes are concerned. The band’s members have logged time in Nunslaughter, Apartment 213, and Masakari.
