SVE in 'The OA' Season 2

Netflix's 'The OA' returns, w/ Sharon Van Etten, for S2 in March (watch the trailer)

Netflix’s mystical sci-fi series The OA, which was co-created by and stars Brit Marling, is back for season 2 on March 22. (It’s been three years since the original season.) As you may remember, Marling stars as a woman who returns home after being missing for seven years, who may or may not have special powers and recruits a group of strangers for help in a mission. As for what to expect in S2, the synopsis merely says “No one survives alone.” Sharon Van Etten, who plays Rachel, is also back and appears briefly in the just-released S2 trailer, which features a lot of mysterious stuff and a little group dancing. You can watch below.

The OA was co-created by Zal Batmanglij, whose brother, Rostam, scores the series.

Sharon Van Etten’s tour returns to NYC for a show at the soon-to-reopen Webster Hall on May 4 (tickets are on AmEx presale now). UPDATE: She’s also playing Asbury Park’s Sea.Hear.Now Festival with Cat Power, Bad Religion, The B-52s, and more.
