New Order offer a glimpse of post-punk '80s Berlin in "Singularity" video (watch)

New Order have shared the video for “Singularity,” one of the standout cuts from last year’s Music Complete. It’s comprised of footage from B-Movie, the story of Mark Reeder (of New Order’s onetime Factory labelmates Shark Vegas) and his life in 1980s West-Berlin. The footage was edited by Damian Hale, who does live visuals for New Order. There is some incredible footage here, painting the war-torn city as a post-punk refuge. Watch it below.
New Order will be in North America soon for a short tour, starting with their show at NYC’s Radio City Music Hall on March 10. Tickets are still available (though Ticketmaster says “not many”). Updated tour dates are listed below.
