Pierced Arrows guitarist Fred Cole said it best when he described his band’s new record as “rough, ragged and honest”. About as gritty and raw as garage rock can get, the sophomore effort and Vice debut from the Oregon heavyweights is a fierce kick at the can. – Straight

Above you can get “Let It Rain,” a brand new track off Pierced Arrows‘ (ex-Dead Moon) forthcoming Vice debut Descending Shadows, which comes out February 2nd. The first song we previously posted from that album, “Paranoia,” is above as well.

The band’s February/March tour includes two NYC-area shows. They play Friday, March 5th at Mercury Lounge and Saturday, March 6th at Maxwell’s. Their Vice labelmates Lullabye Arkestra open both of those (and others on the tour). Tickets for Mercury Lounge and Maxwell’s tickets are both on sale.
