New York Comedy Club takes over old Eastville space in Manhattan

After 10 years at 85 E. 4th St, Eastville Comedy Club moved to downtown Brooklyn. As Bedford & Bowery notes, the address is staying laugh-filled as New York Comedy Club has already moved in. It’s the second location for NYCC (the other being on E. 24th St in Gramercy), While they’ve been hosting shows for a bit at the new location (Todd Barry, Jim Gaffigan, Arte Lange and Janeane Garofalo have made appearances already), the official Grand Opening is Thursday, August 30 with a lineup of Yamaneika Saunders, Sherrod Small, Jon Fisch, and Adrienne Iapalucci at the 8 PM show, and Matt Richards, Todd Barry, Yamaneika Saunders, and Sherrod Small at the 10:15 PM show. Tickets are on sale, with a two drink minimum.

Tonight (8/28) it’s Subhah Agarwal, H. Foley, Vanessa Hollingshead, and more, and Wednesday night (8/29) is Dan Soder, Matt Richards, Matt Pavich and more. The rest of the East Village location’s upcoming lineup has not been announced.
