New York Comedy Festival begins soon (updated lineup)

The 2017 New York Comedy Festival is coming up next week (November 7 -12) at venues all over the city, featuring such performers as Nick Offerman, Samantha Bee, Chris Hardwick, Kevin Smith, Iliza Shlesinger, 2 Dope Queens, Brian Regan, “How Did This Get Made?,” Jim Norton, the annual Stand Up for Heroes benefit with Jon Stewart, Trevor Noah, John Oliver, Conan O’Brien, John Mulaney, Hasan Minhaj and Red Hot Chili Peppers, and more. There’s lots more funny stuff in addition to what we’ve already posted about, including:

    • WellRed Comedy” (aka Trae Crowder [The Liberal Redneck], Drew Morgan and Corey Ryan Forrester) at Gramercy Theatre on November 7 (tickets)

 

    • “Dino & Andy’s Skull Juice”  at Gramercy Theatre on November 10 with Dino Stamatopoulos & Andy Dick, plus special guest Scott Adsit (tickets)

 

    • Best of UCBTNY‘ at UCB Chelsea on November 10 (advance tickets are sold out but there will be a standby line). The UCB Theatre will move to Hell’s Kitchen at the end of the month.

 

    • A live edition of Adam Conover‘s “Adam Ruins Everything” at Gramercy Theatre on November 11 (7 PM) with Alison Zeidman & Brian Frange (tickets)

 

    • A live taping of Grace Helbig’s “Not Too Deep” podcast at Gramercy Theatre on November 11 (9:30 PM, tickets)

 

    • Conan O’Brien will be doing his TBS talk show CONAN from The Apollo all next week and guests include Stephen Colbert (11/6), Keegan Michael Key (11/7), and the cast of Daddy’s Home 2 (Will Ferrell, Mark Wahlberg, Mel Gibson, John Lithgow and Linda Cardellini) on 11/9.
