Nine Inch Nails said their only summer US shows would be a short Vegas run, but they’ve got big plans for the fall. After recently announcing that they’re headlining San Antonio’s River City Rockfest in September, NIN have now announced a massive fall tour with support from the legendary Jesus and Mary Chain (who had NIN open their Automatic tour).

The tour includes two-night stands at Colorado’s Red Rocks (9/18 & 9/19), NYC’s Radio City Music Hall (10/13 & 10/14), Boston’s Boch Center (10/19 & 10/20), Chicago’s Aragon Ballroom (10/25 & 10/26), and more, plus a four-night stand at LA’s Palladium (12/7, 12/8, 12/11 & 12/12).

For this tour, tickets will ONLY be sold in person at the box office on Saturday, May 19 (except Red Rocks, which will be available May 20 at the Denver Coliseum box office). Each city’s box office opens at 10 AM local time, and they say no lineups before 8 AM. Here’s more info:

In an attempt to get tickets directly into the hands of fans instead of resellers, the band will be selling all seats to COLD AND BLACK AND INFINTE NORTH AMERCA 2018 in person at The Physical World presale events, taking place May 19th at each venue’s box office, with the exception of Red Rocks for which the presale will take place on May 20th at the Denver Coliseum Box Office.

WHAT? WHY? PHYSICAL WORLD PRESALE?
THE PROMISE OF A WORLD MADE BETTER BY COMPUTERS AND ONLINE CONNECTIVITY HAS FAILED US IN MANY WAYS, PARTICULARLY WHEN IT COMES TO TICKETING. EVERYTHING ABOUT THE PROCESS SUCKS AND EVERYONE LOSES EXCEPT THE RESELLER. WE’VE DECIDED TO TRY SOMETHING DIFFERENT THAT WILL ALSO LIKELY SUCK, BUT IN A DIFFERENT WAY. WE’RE HOPING MANY OF YOU WILL BE HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS, WHILE SOME MAY DO WHAT THEY ALWAYS DO AND BITCH ABOUT IT.

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS:
YOU (AN ACTUAL HUMAN BEING) SHOW UP AT THE BOX OFFICE, INTERACT WITH THE TICKET SELLER (ANOTHER ACTUAL HUMAN BEING) AND PURCHASE UP TO FOUR TICKETS THAT WILL ACTUALLY BE HANDED TO YOU ON THE SPOT. THE TICKETS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE ONLINE OR ANYWHERE ELSE BEFORE OR DURING THAT DAY. ALL SEATS (INCLUDING THE BEST SEATS) WILL BE AVAILABLE FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE. YOU MAY ACTUALLY ENCOUNTER OTHER ACTUAL HUMAN BEINGS WITH SIMILAR INTERESTS LIKELY WEARING BLACK CLOTHING DURING THE PROCESS AND POTENTIALLY INTERACT WITH THEM. THE EXPERIENCE HAS THE POTENTIAL* TO BE ENJOYABLE. NINE INCH NAILS HAS ALWAYS BEEN ABOUT BRINGING PEOPLE TOGETHER, LIVING LIFE TO THE FULLEST AND GOOD TIMES.**

ANY REMAINING TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT A LATER DATE.
