Geoff Rickly’s band No Devotion have released the fifth single off their upcoming debut album, Permanence, “Permanent Sunlight.” No Devotion is the more mainstream-sounding of Geoff’s two current bands, and this one is the closest they’ve come to arena alt-rock yet. It opens with U2-style guitars, and then layers them with synths taken right from The Cure’s poppiest moments. The album comes out September 25 on Geoff’s Collect Records.
