NOFX are on tour, having just played the Punk Rock Bowling festival in Las Vegas on Sunday (5/27), where they made a joke on stage that has resulted in some controversy. TMZ posted a video, which shows Fat Mike saying “We played a song about Muslims and we didn’t get shot. Hooray,” and Eric Melvin responding “I guess you only get shot in Vegas if you are in a country band.” Fat Mike then added “at least they were country fans and not punk rock fans,” which resulted in some audible disappointment from the crowd, to which Fat Mike replied “You were all thinking it.” You can see the footage below.

UPDATE: Stone Brewing — the company that makes NOFX‘s signature Punk In Drublic beer and sponsors their festival of the same name — has cut all ties with NOFX.
