Nomad Stones (mem Cave In) streaming debut LP, opening for Piebald

Piebald will begin their reunion tour later this month, and openers have since been announced for most shows. Their Wrecking Ball aftershow is with Knapsack and Modern Baseball co-frontman Brendan Lukens (tickets), their Philly show is with By Surprise, and their West Coast dates are with Limbeck.

The NYC show, which happens August 10 at Webster Hall, is with Cave In spinoff Nomad Stones. Nomad Stones’ self-titled debut album comes out this week via Brutal Panda, and it’s up a much more pop punk alley than Cave In’s stuff, which should pair well with Piebald. It also has a Sonic Youth-referencing song, “Dirty Boots And A Friend Named Goo.” Stream the whole album below (via Decibel). Tickets for the NYC show are still available.
