UPDATE: pictures from Comic Con Saturday HERE and Sunday HERE.

New York Comic Con continued with its second day on Friday (10/6) at Jacob Javits Center. Along with an assortment of events, panels, shopping on the sales floor, and Artist’s Alley, lots of people used the occasion to dress as characters from their favorite fandoms. We shared pictures of our favorite cosplayers from Thursday at Comic Con HERE; in the gallery above, find a gallery of the best of Friday. Some highlights include Beetlejuice, a dabbing Left Shark, Jack Skellington and Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas, some Disney princesses, a dead ringer for Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean, and Frank the Rabbit from Donnie Darko.

Along with cosplay, some highly anticipated series and sequels revealed trailers on Friday at Comic Con, like Pacific Rim: Uprising, Hulu’s Future Man, and two Philip K. Dick adaptations from Amazon, Electric Dreams and the third season of The Man in the High Castle. Watch those below. Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency screened the first episode of its second season for BBC America (which airs 10/14 but you can watch a short first look below). Marvel’s Runaways also screened the pilot of its upcoming Hulu series. IGN says:

The age demographic, ethnic diversity, and male to female ratio are enough to make this show stand apart from everything else in the Marvel Cinematic Universe — it stars young teens with various backgrounds and the ladies outnumber the guys two to one — but there’s also its surprising emotional maturity. Whereas the MCU movies have made a name for themselves with their nonstop gags and jokes, Runaways plays everything earnestly. Tense moments and dramatic confrontations aren’t cut short for a laugh, making this series feel more akin to the Netflix shows than the movies. That said, in place of the more adult themes and subjects tackled by Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage (sorry, Iron Fist), Runaways’ overall tone is one of sadness and pain caused by, well, being a teenager.

Watch the Runaways trailer below, as well.

A scheduled Saturday panel for Marvel’s The Punisher was cancelled in the wake of the tragic mass shooting in Las Vegas, and Comic Con announced that the panel will be replaced by the first public screening of Joe Quesada Presents: My Chat with Stan Lee. Polygon says:

Joe Quesada Presents: My Chat with Stan Lee focuses on an interview between Marvel’s chief creative officer Joe Quesada and the comic publisher’s iconic writer and creator, Stan Lee. The interview took place at the Paley Center this past April and was done in conjunction with The Hero Initiative, a non-profit organization that helps comic book writers and artists in need. According to the description of the documentary provided by New York Comic Con organizers, Lee will field “questions that he has rarely been asked and reveals never-before-heard stories and thoughts on some of the greatest moments in his personal life, professional career, and the history of Marvel.”

All four days of Comic Con are sold out, but if you can’t be there in person, some events and panels stream live.
