NYC show cancellations due to Bomb Cyclone snowstorm

The Bomb Cyclone has brought down a whole bunch of snow and wind and dropping temperatures, which means cancellations. We’re updating to this list of stuff that isn’t (and still is) happening. If what you’re looking for is not here, can’t hurt to call before you go trudging out into this stuff.

Tonight’s Thunderdreamer show at Elsewhere has been postponed to March 5. “All sold tickets will be honored, refunds will be available until February 26 at 12PM EST.”

The Sunwatchers show at Union Pool tonight has been canceled.

Juan Maclean begins a four week Thursday DJ residency at Rose Gold (aka The Cape House) tonight and it’s still happening.Says Juan,  “if you live in NYC you’ve probably been stuck inside all day, the snow is stopping so come on out! It’s warm and cozy in there with nice cocktails etc.”

The shows at Brooklyn Bowl tonight (AC/DC tribute, and the late show with Binky Gripite) have been postponed — “New show dates coming soon. Stay safe everyone!”

Saint Vitus says “Tonight’s benefit show with Runny is postponed due to EXPLOSIVE CYCLOGENESIS! Stay warm out there! The Runny benefit is now happening on 1/13.”

Tonight’s Moor Mother, Dreamcrusher and Geng show at Brooklyn Bazaar is still on. While you’re there, you can also check out the “suuuuuper soft opening” of Brooklyn Bazaar’s new in house restaurant, Super Burrito.

Mercury Lounge says “Our shows tonight are STILL ON! Unless there are train cancellations we’ll be rocking out tonight. Come warm up with us!” Adam Melchor is the early show, and Birds are the late show.

The Max Weinberg show at City Winery is still happening.

The Jill Sobule and John Deutsch shows at Joe’s Pub tonight are still on.

The new UCB Theatre is open tonight.

Pianos says, “The show must go on! Fun starts at 8pm. And we’re now open and cranking out nachos!” Teen Girl Scientist Monthly, Sam Vicari, and Novelty Daughter play there.

Ja Rule‘s show at B.B. King’s has been postponed to January 31.

Comedy Cellar says, “we are here and we are opened! Seven shows tonight beginning at 7:30pm. Bundle up.”
