Oakland's Everyone is Dirty releasing snarling new single "Banana Split" (listen)

Oakland, CA’s Everyone is Dirty have been darting back and forth across the line of attitude-heavy party punk and more introspective, janglier material since 2013 or so, with singer Sivan Lioncub’s electric violin tying their two sides together. The band released their debut album in 2014 (listen below) and are set to release a new cassingle on July 22 via Royal Oakie. (Pre-orders are available.) You don’t need a tape deck to check out the A-side, the snarling “Banana Split” — a stream of it premieres in this post. Listen below.

Everyone is Dirty will play a release show for the single at SF’s Great American Music Hall on July 21 with Death Valley Girls, and Night Shapes. They’ve got a couple other Bay Area shows this summer as well. All dates are listed below.
