OBN IIIs and Ex-Cult playing Death by Audio after Mercury Lounge (updated tour dates)

As mentioned, Austin’s absolutely fierce OBN IIIs are about to hit the road with Memphis’ Ex-Cult (who were just in NYC last month). That tour includes a stop at Mercury Lounge on July 24. Tickets are still available, but OBN IIIs/Ex-Cult have added a second show happening at Death by Audio on July 25 with Shocked Minds and Pampers. Updated tour dates are listed below.

If you’ve never seen OBN IIIs live, it is an intense rock experience, with singer Orville not really allowing a passive show-going experience. He’s an in-your-face kind of guy so text/tweet/etc at your peril. Their show last year at Don Pedro was one of my favorites of 2012.

While we wait for the band to follow-up 2012’s self-titled sophomore album, OBN IIIs do have a new song on the free-download Garage Swim compilation and you can stream their contribution below.
