Oh Sees cancel second Brooklyn OCS show at Murmrr
UPDATE: The 12/16 show has been canceled. “Due to unforeseen circumstances, our OCS show at Murmrr Theatre on 12/16 has been cancelled. Refunds will be issued to all purchasers.” You can still get tickets for the 12/15 OCS show.
Oh Sees are playing a special show as OCS at Brooklyn’s Murmrr Theatre on December 15 that is with a string section and they’ve just added a second night on 12/16. Both shows are with Shannon Lay and tickets are on sale now.
At these shows, they’ll perform OCS material, including songs off last year’s lovely, pastoral Memory of a Cut Off Head which was a collaboration between John Dwyer and former Oh Sees member Brigid Dawson. You can stream it in full below.
Meanwhile, the OCS Live in San Francisco, album, which came out digitally over the summer, is getting a vinyl release on November 1 via Rock is Hell. It was recorded at their shows at The Chapel last year and you stream it below.
