Oh Sees share Halloween video for "Nite Expo," playing shows w/ Ty Segall

Just in time for Halloween, Oh Sees have a spooky/scary animated video for “Nite Expo” from this year’s Orc. Hand-drawn and animated by Alex Theodoropulos, the video plays off some of frontman John Dwyer’s childhood loves. John explains:

Animation and role-playing games were a huge part of my youth, so I was really excited to work on this with Alex Theodoropulos and make a fun Halloween video that harkens back to the real simple times. Imagination running wild and no thoughts of a heavy world. So, for now, a momentary break and happy Halloween.

In it, an armored Orc battles all manor of ghouls, demons and monsters. Watch that video below.

John has another record out soon, under the name OCS, which is a collaboration with former bandmate Brigid Dawson. OCS will be playing a few shows in California which they’re describing as “A mellow sit-down set with John Dwyer, Brigid Dawson, Tim Hellman, Paul Quattrone, Tom Dolas.” There are two shows at Los Angeles’ Teragram Ballroom on December 15 & 16 (tickets) and two shows at San Francisco’s The Chapel on December 17 & 18 (sold-out). All of those shows also feature Ty Segall playing an acoustic set, plus opener Shannon Lay.

Oh Sees, meanwhile, have a couple UK dates in March 2018. All dates are listed below.
