Ahead of the September 9 release of their upcoming album Away, Okkervil River have shared a video for new single “The Industry.” The video stars frontman Will Sheff as a bemused astronaut wandering through an unfamiliar world, while the track catalogues Sheff’s grievances against the modern record business. Check it out below.

The video comes just a few days after Okkervil River’s sold-out July 20 show at BK’s National Sawdust, where they played almost the entire new album (including lead single “Okkervil River R.I.P.”). They were joined by the yMusic ensemble, who also contributes to the record. Check out more photos and the setlist from the show below.

The band’s tour returns to NYC for a larger show on October 20 at Webster Hall with Landlady and Lip Talk. Tickets for that show still available. Updated dates are listed below.
