Omni announce Sub Pop debut and fall tour dates (listen to "Sincerely Yours")
Atlanta’s Omni have announced Networker, their first album for Sub Pop which will be out November 1. They’ve also shared the first single from the album, “Sincerely Yours,” which is another fine example of the minimal, nervy guitar pop Omni make. “The last couple of years marked a lot of friends making the 9 to 5 career change,” says singer/bassist Philip Frobos. “While I’m aware that there are many advantages to that lifestyle, the song is written from an outsider’s perspective while remaining close to their struggles.” Watch the video below.
Omni will be on tour this fall, playing Nashville, Chicago, Toronto, Brooklyn, DC, Raleigh and Atlanta. The Brooklyn stops are October 28 at Baby’s All Right and October 30 at The Sultan Room at Turk’s Inn. Tickets for those two shows go on sale Wednesday, August 14 at noon.
