Opeth, Gojira, & Devin Townsend Project @ The Vic in Chicago (pics, setlists)

Opeth, Gojira and the Devin Townsend Project are currently bringing their triple threat of prog metal around the US on a tour together. The tour included a huge Philly show where they crossed paths with the Mastodon/Eagles of Death Metal/Russian Circles tour and all six bands played the same gig. The next night, Gojira, Opeth, and the Devin Townsend Project hit NJ’s Starland Ballroom, followed by Chicago’s Vic Theatre on May 9. Pictures from the Chicago show are in the gallery above. Opeth and Gojira setlists below.

Gojira have other upcoming tour dates, including some dates on the Metallica tour that began this week. Gojira (and Mastodon) also play the amazing Psycho Las Vegas in August.
