Opeth playing Radio City Music Hall; tickets on BrooklynVegan presale

Things are stirring in the land of prog-metal royalty Opeth. While there’s been no word on a new album — their last was 2014’s Pale Communion — they have announced some big shows. At the end of last year they played those huge anniversary shows in NYC and LA. Now they’ve booked NYC’s Radio City Music Hall on October 1. Tickets for that will be on BrooklynVegan presale today (3/15) at noon. Use password VEGANLOTUSEATER. If you miss the presale, tickets go on sale to the general public Friday (3/18) at noon.

So far that is the only announced U.S. date, but they also just announced they’ll be playing Wembley Arena outside London in November. Before that, Opeth have a few international festival dates during the summer. All tour dates are listed, along with a stream of “Blackwater Park,” below.
