Overkill prep new LP, share "Our Finest Hour," touring in 2017 with Nile

New Jersey thrash vets Overkill are getting ready to release a new album called The Grinding Wheel. While we’ll have to wait until February to get the full dose, they’ve offered fans an early taste of the album with “Our Finest Hour.” It’s what we’ve come to expect from this band — straight ahead, down-and-dirty thrash metal that delivers the goods with minimum fuss and maximum efficiency.

Meanwhile, Overkill have announced a 2017 tour right around the release of that new album where they’ll be joined by tech-death rippers Nile. That will take them through the NYC area for an NJ show at the Starland Ballroom on March 11 with a ton of additional support: Amorphis, Swallow the Sun, Xenophile, We…Our War and Enrage. Tickets for that are on sale now.
