Overkill

Overkill touring w/ Death Angel (including NYC w/Life of Agony)

NJ thrash vets Overkill are releasing their 19th album, The Wings of War, on February 22 via Nuclear Blast, and they’ve announced a tour in support of it. They’ll be supported on the “Wings Over the USA” tour by Bay Area thrash legends (and labelmates) Death Angel and Act of Defiance, which features former members of Megadeth (guitarist Chris Broderick and drummer Shawn Drover) as well as Henry Derek (formerly of Scar the Martyr and Thrown Into Exile) and Matt Bachand (Shadows Fall).

The “Wings Over the USA” tour kicks off in late April in Baltimore, and includes a stop at NYC’s Playstation Theater on May 10, 2019. And as if this lineup wasn’t already exciting enough, the NYC date also includes a set from Life of Agony (who most recently played a couple of area shows with Sick Of It All, and are reportedly working on a new album too). Tickets go on sale Friday, February 1 at 10 AM.

UPDATE: Act of Defiance have dropped off the tour. Mothership will take their place, and a few of the dates changed a bit.

See all updated tour dates below.

Before their dates with Death Angel and Act of Defiance start, Overkill keep it real and acknowledge their roots by celebrating the release of The Wings of War at a NJ release party at the Jamesburg Elks Lodge 2180 on February 22. The Old Bridge Militia Foundation is hosting the show, and tickets are on sale now.
