OZY Fusion Fest coming to Central Park w/ Wyclef, Andra Day, 'Broad City,' more
NYC is getting yet another (small) music festival this summer, and it’s actually the same weekend as Panorama. It’s co-presented by arts/culture webzine OZY Media and the Fusion TV Channel (which Univision recently acquired) and it’s called OZY Fusion Fest. It happens July 23 at Rumsey Playfield in Central Park from 10:30 AM to 9 PM.
The fest “is an intersection of thought, food and music, shopping and will feature icons, entertainers, tech innovators and thought leaders.” There’s music from rising soulful singer Andra Day, former Fugee and ’90s/early ’00s hitmaker Wyclef Jean, and Puerto Rican rapper Rene Perez. There’s also Abbi Jacobson & Ilana Glazer from Broad City, and there will be speakers, too, like Bill Gates, former White House Chief of Staff Karl Rove and more.
