Ozzy Osbourne planning farewell tour, playing Welcome to Rockville (2018 lineup)
The annual Florida heavy rock festival Welcome to Rockville has revealed its 2018 lineup, including Ozzy Osbourne, Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, Billy Idol, Thrice, Baroness, Quicksand, Power Trip, The Bronx, Red Fang, The Sword, Turnstile, Andrew WK and more, plus one more TBA. The fest goes down April 27-29 in Jacksonville’s Metropolitan Park. Tickets are on sale now. Full lineup below.
For Ozzy Osbourne, this fest will be one of the 2018 North American dates on what will be his farewell tour, which will last through 2020. Several dates are TBA (presumably/hopefully he’ll add NYC?) but you can see his currently-announced list of dates below. Like at the festivals he played this year, Zakk Wylde will be in his band. His band also includes bassist Blasko, drummer Tommy Clufetos and keyboardist Adam Wakeman.
