Pandora’s “Top Thumb Hundred” of 2018 & artists to watch in 2019

Pandora

You’ve already seen Spotify’s and Apple Music’s 2018 year-end lists, and now Pandora‘s are here. As usual, they put out their annual “Top Thumb Hundred,” the list of the 100 most thumbed-up songs of the year. It was topped by Drake‘s “God’s Plan,” which was also the most streamed song of the year on Spotify and Apple Music. As you can probably predict, there’s plenty more Drake where that came from, and Cardi B, Post Malone and Migos also have multiple songs near the top of the list. The very controversial XXXTENTACION (who also made Spotify’s and Apple Music’s lists) and 6ix9ine (who also made Apple Music’s list) are here too. You can see the top 10 below and see the full Top Thumb Hundred (and hear it as a playlist) here.

Pandora also posted playlists of the top rock songs (including Weezer’s “Africa” cover), top hip hop songs, top R&B songs, top Latin songs, top dance/electronic songs, and top country songs. You can see the top 10s for all of those below too.

Lastly, the Pandora blog made lists of Artists to Watch in 2019, Country Artists to Watch in 2019, and Latin Artists to Watch in 2019. The non-genre-specific Artists to Watch list includes Brockhampton (who are already pretty massive and scored a No. 1 album this year), King Princess, Jade Bird, Empress Of, City Girls, and one that’s a little (pleasantly) surprising to see: rising blues artist J.S. Ondara (who just toured with Lindsey Buckingham). You can see that full list below too.
