Paramore, Tigers Jaw & Julien Baker celebrate release of Phoebe Bridgers LP
Phoebe Bridgers just released her debut album Stranger In The Alps on Dead Oceans (which we’re loving), and it boasts some high-profile guests like Conor Oberst, John Doe, and former Bon Iver member Rob Moose (not to mention Ryan Adams recorded and put out her first 7″). Those aren’t the only notable musicians showing love to Phoebe’s album. Paramore, Tigers Jaw, and Phoebe’s onetime tourmate Julien Baker took the opportunity to celebrate the album’s release on Twitter. Julien tweeted “the @phoebe_bridgers record is finally out today, ready to let this album completely consume me” and Paramore’s Hayley WIlliams tweeted “oh wow @phoebe_bridgers’ album is finally out. new version of Killer is perfect. will sleep soundly w/ my tears,” while Tigers Jaw simply said “in love with this record.” See their tweets below (including a quick Pinegrove co-sign too).
Phoebe plays a NYC release show at Baby’s All Right on 10/4 (tickets), which is coincidentally (and unfortunately) the same night Paramore’s tour with Best Coast hits Radio City.
Julien Baker (who recently opened for Paramore) brings her tour with Half Waif to NYC’s Town Hall on 10/27 (tickets). Tigers Jaw are on tour now with Manchester Orchestra and Foxing, hitting NYC’s Terminal 5 on 9/29 (tickets).
