Parquet Courts share affecting 'Human Performance' title track

Parquet Courts‘ new album Human Performance is out Friday, April 8 and is easily their least obtuse record to date, and the band’s most “hit”-filled record since Light Up Gold (or maybe ever). The regret-tinged title track hits, musically, somewhere between Wire’s “Outdoor Miner” and Jonathan Richman, while lyrically Andrew Savage goes straight for the heart.
The group will be participating in a Reddit AMA on Friday, April 8 at noon EDT. The band’s Human Performance release party this Friday at The Bell House in Brooklyn is sold out, but you can still get tickets to Webster Hall on May 20 with B Boys.
