Parquet Courts throwing a unique year-end concert/installation at Knockdown Center

Parquet Courts are fond of putting on unique shows in their hometown, like the 2014 show at Bed Stuy’s Sugarhill Supper Club. They’re also fond of year-end holiday shows, like they’ve done at Webster Hall the last couple years. Both those come into play this year with a very unique event that will happen December 10 at Knockdown Center. Called “Knock! Knock! Down! Down!” and will feature sets by the band, as well as X_____X (Craig Bell of Rocket From The Tombs), Flasher, and more to be announced. There will also be a sound installation by Eaters, a gallery of Andrew Savage‘s artwork, films by Joey Pizza Slice, a Dull Tools shop, and other special pop-ups to be named later, all set to take over the entirety of Knockdown Center’s cavernous space. The whole thing will be hosted by Joe Pera and tickets go on sale Friday, September 16 at 10 AM.

Before that the band will be on a UK/EU tour with Eagulls and Pill. All dates are listed, along with the “Knock! Knock! Down! Down!” flyer, below.
