Passion Pit giving new LP away for free to fans who retweet his support for science

Passion Pit leader Michael Angelakos had been dropping new songs fairly frequently this year, via the Wishart Group, a new company he started to aid musicians who need legal, educational and healthcare services. Most of those songs have been taken off the YouTube page, but he’s now releasing the new Passion Pit album, titled Tremendous Sea of Love, for free to fans who retweet his tweet about neuroscientist Michael F. Wells:

Wells recently took over Passion Pit’s twitter to answer questions about science and metal health.

Michael also posted a note with more information on the album, including mentioning that “each song was quickly rendered, or written the night before it was uploaded.” “They were not perfect, but they were honest,” he adds. Here’s the full note:

Passion Pit has previously cancelled tour dates for mental health reasons. Last year, he released a Christmas album.
