Darren Aronofsky‘s (Black Swan, Requiem for a Dream) newest film Noah came out earlier this year, and he’ll be screening it again in NYC on November 17 at Museum of the Moving Image (36-01 35th Ave). It’s a special night, and will have Patti Smith there to perform her song “Mercy Is” (recorded with The Kronos Quartet) which was featured in the film and was her first original song written for the screen. Additionally, both Patti and Darren will be “[discussing] the film and their collaboration in a wide-ranging conversation following the screening.” Tickets go on sale Thursday (10/30) at noon.

Patti Smith also plays two year-end shows at Webster Hall.
