Paul McCartney announces tour dates (4 NYC-area shows)

Paul McCartney revealed earlier this year that he’s working on a new album with producer Greg Kurstin of the Bird and the Bee (who’s also worked with Adele, Kendrick Lamar, and more). Now it appears that Paul will be touring as well.

One US date is officially announced, October 1 at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, and others are rumored like CenturyLink Center in Shreveport and a Des Moines show.

As the instagram below that Madison Square Garden posted reveals, it seems pretty damn likely that Paul is playing The Garden on September 15. Stay tuned for more info.

UPDATE: He is in fact playing MSG on September 15, plus Prudential Center on September 11, Barclays Center on September 16, and NYCB LIVE, Home of The Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum on September 26. Tickets go on sale Friday, May 5 at 10 AM.

UPDATE 2: Even more dates for Paul McCartney’s tour have been announced. See them listed below.

Paul also has a few Japan dates happening this month. All currently known dates are listed below.

Ringo is touring this year too.
