Paul Simon cancels 'Live From Here with Chris Thile' performance due to illness
The legendary Paul Simon retired from touring in 2018, but he still plays the occasional one off show, and he was scheduled to appear at Saturday’s (10/26) edition of Live From Here With Chris Thile at Town Hall, alongside Mavis Staples, Rachael Price, Janeane Garofalo, Brian Platzer, and Rachel & Vilray. Unfortunately, he’s had to cancel that appearance, as he’s come down with a “very bad cold.” More from Live From Here:
For those attending the Oct 26 broadcast of Live from Here with Chris Thile, unfortunately, Paul has come down with a very bad cold and it has impeded his ability to perform on this week’s show. Paul is resting and recuperating, but he’s sorry he’s not able to be there. He loves the show and is a fan of Chris.
Bummer, and get better soon, Paul!
The show will still go on with the aforementioned guests; it’s currently sold out.
